Avoiding Murphy’s law

19 May

Well, the brakes are bled, the engine is running, it’s not leaking any fluids, the clutch seems to work. It was time for a run around the car park. Well, it accelerates ok, but boy is it lacking in the stopping department!

After sleeping on the whole rear wheel cylinder problem, I’ve decided to purchase the replacement cylinders, and take them as spares to Mongolia. If I need them, I have them, if not I’ll try and return them for partial credit. Just like washing your car guarantees it’ll rain, I think I’ve just assured myself there will be no fluid leaks from the rear brakes.
