Rolling on
12 JunProgress on the roll bar has been good. The picture below shows the extension after it has been welded to the right hand side. The left hand side is also done, and tonight it's all been given a quick coat of paint, ready for installation tomorrow.
I still have to make the braces which tie to the chassis, one behind the rollbar, and the other to the seat belt mounts (you can see them in the picture in the June 10 entry).
While I'm hoping we won't need the services of the bar, here is a picture of a Suzuki SJ which didn't fare so well on the 2006 rally!
